I did postal to get my OCI and sent $7.40 for BLS fee draft. The table also indicated $7.40 at that time. The same table is showing $1.70 now. Better to call them and get clarified.

Applied mid July and got it mid October. They are severely behind on schedule compared to 6-8 weeks timeline they have provided.

My husband got his e-visa during 2nd week of Sept 2023 and travelled during last week of September to India for two weeks with no issues, and returned back to Canada as well.

Niagara oath ceremony had 190 people on zoom, registration with the clerk was 1-1 (pretty quick) and the ceremony took 2 hours (most of it was just waiting for the judge). The actual ceremony was only about 30-40 mins.
