My primary visa office was CPC-Ottawa and my secondary visa office was Etobicoke. I didn't apply for an extension or BOWP in parallel since my permit expires in June, so I thought I had enough time to receive my PR approval

Hi All, I received the portal email today. My timeline is in my signature. :)

I haven't received PPR. But since I'm inland I think I don't need it? Not sure how it works, to be honest. My GCMS notes say that the application is approved but nothing has changed in the portal and I haven't received any email from IRCC since then.

I requested it on 11/18/22 and received it on 12/21/22

Same thing is happening to me. I got my GCMS notes back and my application shows as approved since 12/12/22 but I haven't received any portal email until now.

I hope you're right! Honestly, I was a bit worried about the background check status going back to "In progress". I even came across this thread...

Same as @HP261. I gave my biometrics with my previous visa application.
