The processing time starts after they receive complete application, that would be when you receive your file number right (AOR) ?

Received medical request from Vancouver office today. AOR was March 2023.

My friend was also approved for PGP sponsorship for 2023 draw and he received his file number today and his application was also sent to Vancouver Office! What is going on? 2022 applicants haven't received any update for over a year and IRCC is still sending applications to Vancouver office?

Any update Vancouver applicants? Have we been forgotten completely while other Visa centers applicants are already here?

I tried to inquire through the ircc portal but they sent me a link to the processing time page. So the processing time is around 24 months now, does it start when we get picked in the draw or when we get the file number? If the processing time starts after sponser approval then we received...

Can I bring my parents to Canada on super visa while they are waiting for medical and ppc. My parents already have supervisa and we received their file number in March 2023 but haven't heard anything since then ( Vancouver office) . Can they do their medical and pending processing from Canada?

I had emailed them via ircc portal and they sent me a link to processing time page on their website. Thats all!! Everyone who received invitations along our patents whose file went to other visa offices are already in Canada! We have been waiting since March 2023!

Why IRCC is still sending new applications to Vancouver office when they already have 100s of 1000s of backlog files since 2021? Haven't heard anything sicnce receiving AOR in March 2023, when Mississauga applications from around same timeline are already here in Canada.

Vancouver applicants any update! Someone mentioned that Vancouver office hasn't been processing any files over a year due to their staff layoffs. Are they going to keep the files there and process it or transfer it to somewhere else! It has been over a year now!

This is quite common in Canada. My own application for PR was sent to Buffalo and they transferred all our files to Sydney NS and something that took 1 year took 4 years.
