Still no AIP but we received SA around Feb. 27 (note: we received SA on the sponsor's e-mail). They asked me for additional documentation on Feb. 28, which I provided a few days later. I still have not heard anything back.

Congratulations! They may ask for additional documents to determine if your sponsor is an eligible sponsor. For me, they gave me the SA but asked for additional documents regarding my eligibility for PR.

they asked for 3 thing: 1. Additional documents to prove cohabitation/ legitimacy of the relationship (I thought this was absurd since me and my sponsor have a baby together...). I provided a lease agreement, statements from a joint bank account, and some bills for our address; 2. IMM 0008 -...

    February 2020 Inland Sponsorship

Hello, I just wanted to see if anybody knows what happens after a PR application is approved? I was reading the IRCC website, and it says that after a decision has been made, you meet an immigration officer for a "Confirmation of PR." With covid-19, does anyone know if this is what happens? If...

That’s good to know. I’m still waiting for my medical request and noticed that none have been issued for the least while. That why I assumed that things have slowed down.

I think processing of applications may have slowed down due to the holidays and New Years. Hopefully things pick back up soon.

    *** March 2020 INLAND Spouse Sponsorship ***

Hello, I used the guide here: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/successfully-linking-spousal-pr-application-and-open-work-permit-sowp.582050/ This should work assuming you have your UCI. I used the same UCI from past applications. The only thing that i did...

    *** March 2020 INLAND Spouse Sponsorship ***

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words! I hope for myself and all others that things go smoothly. I am slightly worried that IRCC will decrease their work force towards spousal applications after the new year thus slowing down applications again...
