Sept 2, VO was Edmonton and I got the email from Etobicoke

Received "IRCC Permanent Residence Confirmation Portal" email yesterday confirming my PR application is approved and they have asked to confirm the email address, UCI and date of entry in Canada. Can someone please tell me what to expect next with the timelines? I will be travelling to India...

My BG status says : 'We are processing your background check. we will send you a message if we need more information.' Dont know what it mean. Its been the same status for past 4 months

No. When I spoke to an agent last week, he said that my medicals are expired but pass. in most inland cases, they do not ask for remedicals.

hope this is true!! I had got last update(biometric confirmation) on Oct 26. Since then, there was absolutely no change , no communication. But btw, now when I see in the GCKey portal, the status is back to 'Submitted'

Sept 2nd AOR. I saw 'Profile Updated' on gckey portal for my CEC application; but I see absolutely no change in the application status. Anyone saw anything similar?

What is the different between these two status? I am on "processing your background check". No updates for a long time....

When I asked the same question to one of the agents, he said you can travel to India and inform IRCC that you have travelled outside of Canada for a short duration and can share your return ticket to show the intent of returning to Canada. And then IRCC will guide you with further process...
