IRCC requested 3 additional docs last Dec. I didn't have the AOR yet when I applied for OWP. I kept on emailing through the webform and got 2 responses which both told me that I am on maintained status.

Does your gc say ‘background check has started”. Mine didn’t even say I passed the eligibility although I have received the AIP.

Yep, all done. Biometric was done in Sept. and medical in June before we lodged the application for PR. Medical says passed in our PR application since Aug. 21.

How long is the background check for the SOWP? I applied in July and never heard from them. I just noticed the changes the other day. I have received and forwarded the AOR, SA, and AIP via web form at least a couple of times.

Processing takes 12 months according to the IRCC website. The fastest I’ve seen from another forum is around 4 months for an outland application.
