Our application was received in New York March 16, 2021 and we applied Aug 2020. We have biometrics and medical completed. I'm really hoping we hear something soon!

Our application has been in New York since Feb 2021 and so far we haven't heard anything. I've seen a few other people from Jun-Aug 2020 approved on the spreadsheet whose application went to NY so hoping we hear something soon!

Question- when ECAS changes under Permanent Resident Application Status to show APPLICATION RECEIVED does that mean it's been moved to the Visa Office?

They've recently updated the processing time to say that they're currently finalizing applications received between May 12 and 18, 2019. Check your application status – Immigration and citizenship - Canada.ca That is like 22 months, almost two years!! I certainly hope that it goes faster...

Hi! I wish I knew how long it would take. I'm hoping by the end of the year at the latest...trying to have low expectations so that maybe I'll be surprised if it's earlier haha! Have you received any notification of your applications moving to a visa office?
