Got it, Checked my gcms notes... Criminality is passed for me. Seems for me it is struck in other parts of background check then.... Not sure which one is taking such a long time.. I dont have any travel history, like just one country of birth and another is Canada.

I did not get even once. I think for my case they are taking the one given for PR 4 year back, that still hold valid.

Definitely, if I go that route will share my experience. Any idea, what is the maximum timeline these security checks can take 18 months/ 2 year or more.

I am also in same boat, every time I approached them via GCMS, WebForm, MP same response. It is being processed .:( Will withdrawing and reapply will be a good option to consider ?

As per my understanding, if everything is completed for you and your spouse, then it is parental assesment for Kids which should be done as next step. I feel this can be expedited by local MP intervention on your behalf. Have you tried that route?

I am also waiting from July 2023. Everything completed except Background verification and Prohibitions. GCMS shows Security Screening as blank. How much time security screening take normally ? year or more than that?
