When you see the status processing at consulate on bls website, does that mean they paperwork is all good?

Hello, my applixation was received on Aug 9th at BLS brampton but no updates after that or email of acknowledgement. Is this normal?

I have a silly question. When I search for the checklist for OCI at BLs website it now shows something that is more of a guide than the checklist that was there before (the one where you ticked stuff that you included). do I need to include that guide with the application and tick on it? Or...
