Hey, guys I got final decision on Oct 16, but I haven't yet received Portal 1. Is anyone else in the same boat? Do you think it is a good idea to contact the VO directly? Or just send an email with the details without getting portal 1?

Honestly, I would suggest you try to look into why there is a holdup in PPR if all your checks are completed in the tracker. It seems strange that you are still waiting for PPR even after a year.

No, not yet. It's been two weeks now, lol. I called IRCC, and they said that all the checks are complete, there are no ADRs, and there aren't any correspondences that I missed. So it's a waiting game now, I guess. Don't know what else I can do.

Once you get COPR you are a permanent resident. PR card is just a travel document. However as it is a PNP, the province can raise an issue in the future as you have committed to staying in that province as part of your PNP. I would recommend staying in the same province for a 1 or 2 years...
