Hello everyone, I came to share that I finally got my COPR yesterday. The support here was very helpful to make the process smoother (thank you) I'm a CEC AOR OCt 8 with 1 dependant. MEP Jan 8 Bio updated Jan 10.

It could be just my impression, but I also do feel that having dependents slow down the process. My friend is single and got his within the 5 months mark and we applied together.

I don't know if this means much but I was looking at the August threads and there were many posts with people saying they got their COPRs lately. Hopefully this translates to us and we can get ours in 2 months time too. Fingers crossed!

Hello guys, This week I will be completing 6 months and was wondering if giving you biometrics later means that your COPR will be delayed as well. I'm a CEC AOR Oct 8th but my medicals and biometrics were requested on early January a little after 3 months from my AOR. Thank you

Anyone has an expected date for completion? I'm AOR Oct 9th and in my profile it says estimated completion date June 3rd. I was wondering if this date is worth relying on.

I would like to know if once we receive a PPR or the golden email are we considered permanent residents? Can we buy a house as a Canadian after receiving the PPR? Cheers
