This is just outrageous.. a TRV against an approved application taking this long is insanity !

I have raised one webform and contacted MP back in November. But I have never received a webform response and MP responded me with general “I contacted IRCC they said your application is fine just need to wait”.

I don’t think anything of it helped to make it move. I was hesitating to re-apply couple of weeks ago and asked advice here. Another person suggested to wait as his March 2021 application was approved at the beginning of February.
I think they gradually started treating old files. But nothing can be certain with IRCC. You may get your new application approved faster, then probably can request a cancellation and refund for the old one

Sharing a timeline here;
Myself and my husband submitted separate applications for TRV inside Canada on Feb 11, 2022.
He received the PPR on Feb 20
Passport delivered at Ottawa office on Feb 28, Counterfoil generated March 03 (validity until Dec 2022, same as Work permit).
For myself, Eligibility started on March 01, nothing yet!

I applied on feb 11 as well but not even eligibility started yet I am worried now. Your application number starts with V3 or V4 ?
