Thank you for your response but the clarification I need is that is it rcmp from Canada the officers are requesting now cos that is where I am finding confusing .
yes I know few members are here got request rcmp after when they submitted they’re rcmp after 20 to 45 days it changed to decision made @Naz786 so more could clarity that
Some the officers waiting 3 to 6 months then requested a rcmp if you send before request they speed up your process or if you requested any exemption like passport Financial medicals or you have any match in your police certificate it could make Daley your process

Was your cousin ask to do the fingerprints or he just want to do it on his own and submit.
i requested gcms note for my cousin on July 2021 it says rcmp fingerprints required
II thought that Immigration do it by itself since they already have his fingerprint
On October 21 I got email from niagara Falls asking for his wife for FBI background check and for him RCMP fingerprint

for his wife takes only 24 hours fbi background and rcmp but for him it’s more than 4 months we are waiting rcmp
We contact rcmp they us back it saying been receiving and complete but the results are pending

Well good for you . My response was Base solely on the fact a lot of person pay lawyers and still get refuse. instead someone that don’t have enough to cover lawyers fee could’ve reach out and get help with their application a lot of persons are not well educated in immigration to diy which is why I mention small fee because myself if I needed the help I would’ve also paid knowing it’s a small fee. You could’ve simple said you’re doing it from the goodness of your heart simple without coming off as ! Now I know

There are two ways out of refusal:

1. Pack bags and move to a different country.
2. Read through refusal notes, gather new evidence and re-apply.

When my spouse got refused for HC for the second time, he only had 4 weeks before his removal interview. All lawyers were saying that there is zero chance to win if we reapply. I did not listen and removed them as our representatives.

Then I refreshed all evidence, wrote a new cover letter in our name and sent the new application. Miraculously, his AOR arrived the day before his interview. And When he went to CBSA and they saw he has a new HC in process, they granted him administrative deferral of deportation until HC is decided. Few weeks later he received AIP. Almost same evidence as in his 2nd HC, but a different agent this time.

All this to say: if you really want to stay in Canada, pull the last bits of energy you have left to fight and re-apply.
Thanks@ katayoon this is heartwarming
