B1/B2Visa application filed with Ottawa, Appointment in Vancouver consulate

Hello there

I had created an US B1/B2 application for the Ottawa Consulate but during booking my appointment, i could only find dates in Vancouver.

Hence I booked my appointment in Vancouver next week.

My question was: In my visa interview, will they raise a concern as to why my DS-160 application has Ottawa Consulate's address but visa appointment is in Vancouver?

Any advice is appreciated

Hi, I've done it a couple years back and it was fine. On a side note, I was wondering if you see plenty of appointments in Vancouver consulate? I wanted to apply for a B1/B2 visa once I land in Canada next month but don't want to pay for the fees only to find out the appointments won't be available until a couple months later. Thanks!

thanks @jiah ! i had applied last year March 2021. I think there are no appointments until 2023.

I had an appointment in Calgary last week February 22nd. And consulate officer said my visa is Refused for Administrative Processing and they keep the Passport.
Dose anyone know how many days it take to get the passport back.
As they didn’t give me any Tracking number

Congrates, how many years is the visa valid for? I think its normally 10 years but just to confirm.
