Background check still in process test marked as completed

As the title says my background check is still in process and my test changed to completed. Has anyone else experienced this scenario. A lot of people from my cohort June 2021 have their bc completed

I haven’t seen many scenarios where bc check is still not complete even after citizenship test. Should I be worried

Can you share some details:
1) Have you traveled internationally a lot?
2) Do you have a common/popular first+last name?
3) Have they asked you for copies of all your passport pages? Did you provide these when you submitted your application?
4) Have they asked you for your fingerprints?

it’s also weird some June 2021 and previous applicants haven’t even gotten the test invite yet. So if something was wrong with my file why would they send me a test invite?

I only have two additional shorts trips after my PR. All travel history remains the same. At pr time bg check was fast

So sounds like they might be interested in copies of your passport pages to verify your travel. They may also be interested in your fingerprints to disambiguate your identity based on your name.
These might be blocking your application.
Based on scrolling through April 2021 applicants thread, it seems that a FP or PP copy request is usually sent along with the citizenship test request.

As to why they haven't asked for it yet is anyone's guess.

Yes, I have the same situation. My citizenship test was completed on Dec 6, 2021. However, I received the test invite before anything was completed (Physical presense, BG, language, prohibitions). I applied on Jan 22, 2021.

Yes, I have the same situation. My citizenship test was completed on Dec 6, 2021. However, I received the test invite before anything was completed (Physical presense, BG, language, prohibitions). I applied on Jan 22, 2021.

In same boat, Aug 2021 applicant- Family (4), received FP request Dec 07, Done on 13th, Received by IRCC on the 29th (Verified by RCMP), Test invite and completion mid of Feb,2022., still BGC in progress.
Wife-BGC completed on Dec 07, No test invite yet!

I haven’t even received FP request my BG is still in progress. Test is complete.

I completed my test in September, got a passport copies request at the same time and responded within a few days. It took until late January and into February for my background, prohibitions etc. to complete. So although background *tends* to be first completed it clearly doesn't necessarily go that way. My name is relatively common and I had a fair amount of travel (although only to 2 countries) so maybe that delayed the checks... who knows. The best explanation I've seen is that IRCC is only in control of test & language - physical presence, background and prohibitions require other orgs - so it's probably a good sign if they move ahead with test even while the other orgs are taking their sweet time.
