I got the same update on Feb 17 ans now I'm wondering how many days will take for PR Card to arrive in Vancouver.
Hi, I think maybe about a week. I got the same message that my card has been mailed on 7th Feb and got the card on 14th Feb here in Vancouver.

Hi I was trying to follow this thread regarding PR Card. My wife became a PR on 04Spet.2021 and we have since settled in Vancouver BC however, she has still not received her PR Card. We recently sent in the Solem Declaration Form to request a replacement PR Card and still no response from IRCC. Any suggestions on what further action that I can take? I see many have posted information regarding their PR Card status only not sure how this helps. Thank you. Luigi Di Sessa.

Thanks for the response!

Please can you clarify what you mean by your application was being processed a lot earlier than expected? How did you learn that?

I did respond to the first email letting them know I’m in canada but I didn’t respond to the second one. Instead I sent an email requesting they pause processing. I never received a response. And IRCC call center confirmed my status is still “processing”. I definitely don’t have my COPR. My understanding is that I now need to go in to the PR portal and confirm there that I’m in canada. Then they start my actual PR card processing.

I really need to go back as my family has been sick and I haven’t seen them in years. It has taken me a long time to get this time off and plan the travel.
I am obviously going to reschedule if someone (IRCC) can confirm that this is actually a concern. I am not getting good guidance from them :(
The ideal timelines suggested by IRCC for PR application completion is 6 months (mentioned here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html). However, I received eCOPR within 5 months - meaning first email was a month earlier than my travel date. In that case if I had chosen to postpone to reply on the first email I would have to postpone it until I come back that would be almost 2 months which is very long.

I understand your situation - perhaps @legalfalcon can help out. They are very well experienced advisors. :)

I would suggest keep trying to connect to IRCC on phone until you connect to a real person and ask them to pause your process. Emails/webform are not going to be helpful at the moment as this is not an ideal situation and time is the essence. I sincerely wish your family well.

Additionally, you can also look at this post and few relevant posts trailing after that. When I was in a kind of similar situation and this person helped me out.

Hey , I am in a similar situation. My husband and one of my daughter's card has been approved in the IRCC portal but the other daughter is still in the submitted status. I am not sure if they have sent her PR card yet. How are handling the situation?
Hi, I sent an email to IRCC.ClientPortalPrairies-PrairiesClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca enquiring about the status update for her PR card on Friday
and they replied today morning saying this:

Thank you for your email inquiry. Your file is with another office. Please send your inquiry and future inquiries to: IRCC.ClientPortalWest-OuestClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca as this is the office that has your file. Thank you, Calgary IRCC Landing Office.

So I sent an email again to the above email today morning, and thy replied within couple of hours:
"Your dependents card was sent to production on January 25th and is currently under review by Canadian Bank Note. We appreciate your patience. The status of your portal account will read “Ready for Review” until it is manually closed; this will not negatively affect the delivery of your PR card in any way."

So I guess it's at the production, and they are reviewing the photo, will just have to wait for it.

All the best :)
