Hi again everyone. May I ask for your comments on my situation:
As some might already know, I have an active EE profile with a CRS of 478. I am now planning to take the study route, and considering my background I am not eligible for a PhD (considering the GMAT and academic qualifications requirements). I am hoping to apply for a 2nd master's in a more specific field of study (as I am currently holding a general MBA, and my boss is actually happy to sponsor me if I do so). Now, I am under 30, hold a general IELTS (8) and I was graduated back in 2018. However, no gap since then as I have been working well throughout my studies untill now.

At the same time, I am about to get married - not final decision yet - and my wife is 20, halfway through her bachelor's, and DOES NOT have a language certificate. For her, I am planning to either apply for a college, Co-Op, or simply continue her Bachelor's in Canada but conditional to study a year of English in Canada (Not sure if it is possible or not, my initial search on the internet says it is possible).

Could you guys give me some advice on which of us have a better chance of getting admission and also a visa? Thank you all in advance
For my case, I am concerned about having an active EE profile (dual intention issue) + the fact that I am applying for a 2nd Masters (although a friend of mine just got his visa last year through the same route, and in fact, he was 4 years older than me)
For her case, I am just concerned about her lack of a language certificate

I don't know about the possible outcome of SP, but i did apply for a North American certificate course.
A second master's in business with a specialization will be fine. A sponsorship letter from the employer supports your background and intention of this study.
Never ever apply for an English course in Canada. 90% it is rejected with the reason- PA is from India where English is used well and it's stupid of them to come to Canada to learn English hehe. I have seen the gcms notes of some applicants where the reason is mentioned. Come to England bruh for it

Considering your profile I believe you have ample chances of getting a SP approved, Since there's no mention of your fiancé's educational background so unable to comment on it. But the real deal is when you get married and apply it together it'll be a bit difficult to establish ties to your homeland when your spouse is accompanying especially when you are a resident of india, But we have @wonderbly here to give some suggestions.
The employer's sponsorship is strong tho, and you'll need to show more liquid funds when spouse is accompanying.

Which country are you from? By "Repeating a masters" you mean repeating MBA? I am not sure how will it fly... My wife sort of went with double masters in the beginning to get her foot into the university and later converted that into Phd. But, we were applying from with in Canada...

Why don't you try and find a job in Canada? Or join a company that allows easy internal transfers? I know many tech companies do... Thats how I ended up here.

Sorry, just saw your answer some posts back. HRM is a bit of crowded space. How many years have you been working in HRM? Is it a lot? Try switching your specialisation into say Business Analyst? That may still fly. Plus Business Analyst tend to be generalists as well. I mean if you are planning to go through the trouble of doing another masters, then why not adjust your career line a bit to make yourself more amenable to Canadian market. Lastly, HRMs in Canada is a role that is a bit dominated by women. I mean you are not just planning to come here but come here and build a career, right?

Also, is there any specific reason for this hurry?

what you mean?
Meaning, they have a heap of totally processed application lying around (I cann't believe they processed her application or even background in 17 days). For some reason they are not landing them and processing some other applications. Either is just plain bureaucracy or they can only land a certain number of people every month. That and right now they are working hard to appease provinces..

Thank you very much buddy. I am actually from the Middle East. In terms of our ties to our country, both of us are in fact a single child and also in case I want to be the main applicant, my company is willing to sponsor me as I will continue working for them remotely (as I used to do that in the past when I was abroad). Not sure how helpful this will be tho.

So basically you believe, me going for a 2nd master's have a better chance than my wife due to her not having an English certificate?
And do you think my current General module IELTS (overall 8) is enough for admission and visa purposes or will they ask me to take an Academic one again? My IELTS is not even a year old now.

Thank you very much bro for your comment. I am from the Middle East, not exactly another MBA, basically a Master in Marketing, or HR that my boss would be willing to sponsor. Yeah, you're correct, the Canadian career future would be among my concerns too but if my Express Entry does not work, I would simply travel back home. My current degree is not from a very reputable country, and my boss with whom I have been working for nearly 5 years now is willing to sponsor me for a more "prestigious" degree which will be helping me in my career future in my country. Usually, degrees from western countries give you an edge here over others in the industry.

So basically I am not in a hurry, this is just an option that my boss brought up recently, and I have been searching here and there to find the best way for me to utilize this chance of getting a more reputable degree. If express entry works, I will stay in Canada, if not just get back home with a degree that can clearly change my career future here in a positive way.

So considering my situation, do you think is better for me or my wife to apply?

Your boss requesting you to do some studies is good sign and a convincing letter from him mentioning your designation upgrade with pay and benefits plus your accomplishments during your tenure will be amazing and is enough to prove your intentions to apply for a SP
Well in this case i am not sure about your fiancé's chance of getting a SP approved for English studies. You may need to search for such applicants from your region who tried for it in the past.
IRCC accepts both GT and AC for study permits, but some DLI's specifically requests for AC.

Question: I see lots of ADRs for PCC. Since my criminality is still in progress, does it make sense to get fresh PCCs and send it to them upfront? Or will it slow down things even further (maybe new PCCs will trigger some verification process which might take months to complete)?

Hi.. Need help! I'm currently in the US and going to apply for my H1B soon. My question is -in case I don't get my H1B .. Can I get a work permit in Canada without hurting my PR application? Legal falcon? Anyone?
Is your US employer sending you to Canada? If yes, you can get a work permit (Intra company transfer) as long as your company is ready to take care of it. But, if you are planning on finding an employer and having them sponsor your work permit, then that's slightly tough unless you are in Tech. The work permit will not affect your PR application.
