What are you talking about? They've already mentioned TR to PR coming back in some capacity several times. Nothing has been scrapped. They have an easy path to free money from rich university kids. As far as they are concerned, TR to PR was an immense success.

But from what my understanding is it would be mostly NOC based not like last year anyone can apply.

I've received an offer letter for Supply Chain Management for Jan'20, and on the offer letter it is mentioned that the delivery location of my course in Brampton. However, i'm not able to find any review, photo or even location of this campus on the google maps. Does anyone of you have any info regarding the same?

My opinion is that anyone fucking stupid enough to fall for these scams absolutely deserves to be scammed. These are the shit tier idiots we are competing with, and losing, because the system doesn't even consider us eligible.

You know what he did that day by saying those 4 words ,he Baisically made 100s of people hate Canada even before landing there.You can say Canada don't care fair enough, but I am sure atleast a few will leave Canada after getting passport, just using Canada as a condom (use and throw) just as in his words Canada uses us.

I'm in the group. I will leave Canada as soon as I find better opportunities. Unfortunately, Canada is a necessary evil for now.

I don't agree. Canada doesn't owe anyone anything in terms of giving all applicants permanent residence. But they do owe applicants some degree of transparency and respect for basic human dignity. By human dignity I mean, some people have to retake their language exams, bio exams, and recertify their documents. Yes, it is up to each individual to decide whether or not to apply for PR in Canada. However, if IRCC was more transparent, people can plan accordingly - that's what I mean by human dignity. Spending $250 for $IELTS, 250 for credential certification and $400 for medicals is expensive, but to do it twice is inhuman. Add to that keeping 15000 CAD untouched isn't easy for everyone. So no, Canada doesn't owe us PR. But they do owe use transparency so that applicants can pursue PR without sacrificing quality of life. After all, Canada is extremely keen on human rights when it comes to international politics so why not extend the same curtesy to their immigration policies. All that applicants are asking is for IRCC to honor their own word.

Sure, we can all agree on this.

But he was saying this from a legal standpoint, and i think that's what it should be taken as, it's a factual statement not a normative one. He is coming at it from a purely legal point of view, he wasn't stating an opinion that Canada should not feel like it doesn't owe applicants anything.

I don't have any issues with kubeir, I was talking about my fellow Indians who call anyone or everyone sir without any self respect.
About kubeir my 2 cents -He channel used to be highly informative before the pandemic ,a couple of days ago I myself shared his video but now he is all about selling his #foreverBS and stringing people along and giving people false hope for 1 year.The truth is he don't know anything. People are so stupid to understand that then why do you exploit people selling this kind of garbage just for mere views.Now his crap is catching up with him.that is why he is coming up with his new application.


Holthe-Even though he said the truth ,which we already know Canada don't give a fuck .That comment was too inhumane and callous for the people who spend time and money trusting that money on that system.

He could have easily had a better choice of words which he deliberately didn't do.Baisically he just viewed Outlanders like a bunch of pigs waiting to cross the border.

I mean, an immigration consultant is always going to try to paint things in a way which is good for business. It's like a CIC news article, everything is presented in a way which will encourage people to apply, that's just how they approach it in a self-serving way. Again, Kubeir doesn't do this because he is some uber caring person, he does it as a lead-in to get clients for his immigration services, and to promote his YouTube content. I understand the frustration but i don't think he ever presented himself as someone with insider knowledge or having an insight which is special about proceedings. People have to have enough emotional intelligence to understand that at this point in time, no one really knows what will be decided. Even the govt doesn't really know, it depends on a lot of factors.

I agree Holthe could have worded that a lot better, i'm sure he wouldn't have said that if he had a chance to go back in time.

He's one person, i don't think anyone's attitude towards an entire country should be dictated by the words of a single person.

People are already doing that now, i'm sure Canadian authorities already know that. To be honest, immigration seems like a business too, they know there will be those who come for the passport and leave. I don't think they are too worried about it, they are playing the long game. A Canadian citizen is still an asset for them even if they are abroad, and there is always the prospect they will bring wealth into the country.

My query is regarding the jewellery I plan to take to Canada with me initially, as well as in the years to follow.

I've understood that I need to declare it in the goods to carry/goods to follow lists.

Now I wanted to know if it's necessary to get a valuation certificate from a jeweller. The jewellery has been covered in my parent's insurance policy in India and an itemized list with piece wise value is submitted while renewing the policy every year.

However, the policy itself doesn't have an itemized list of the jewellery but just a grouped value of sum insured.

Kindly advise what can be done in this case - do I still need a jewellers certificate?
