Is LMIA or closed Work Permit extension necessary if your PR application in processing phase?

Hello, My closed work permit and LMIA is expiring in 3 months and I am wondering if I need to do the whole process from the start for its extension or not. My PR application is also in processing phase and waiting for the decision. What should be done in this scenario?

1. Apply a new LMIA
OR
2. Bridge work permit will work as well
OR
something else?
