@oneoneone, your best best is to call the helpline and they should be able to help you. Few applicants have reported the same problem in the past and were able to get it sorted by calling the IRCC helpline. Hope that helps.

Just received the same Email, however I received my AOR on 30th December 2021. Unsure what this means.

Just checked and no change from when I last checked. All Citizenship Application 'criteria' still 'In Progress'. Must be a system triggered Email.

I just got my application number by calling the IRCC. I believe it is a system glitch on their side since I checked my inbox everyday.
But anyway, I'm glad my application is under processing now.

Dear Client,

Thank you for submitting your application for a grant of Canadian citizenship. Your application was created in our system on December 22, 2021 and is currently in progress.

You can now follow the progress of your application with our Citizenship Application Tracker.

However I didn't receive any AOR email so I have no idea what my UCI and application number are. Is this normal? Should I contact IRCC or just wait for my AOR email?

Your UCI is the same as on your PR card, however you should contact IRCC to get the application number.

This email usually comes after a week ( in my case ) after your AOR email.

Did you search your inbox, might have missed or it's in the junk mail.

Yeah, I called IRCC and got my application number.
Based on information from other threads, this is more likely a system glitch since the same situation happened to others as well.
