Please post last successful GCMS/ ATIP requests (thread)

Hey forum members, it seems that GCMS / ATIP requests are taking longer than the standard 30 days response time now. It'd be helpful for everyone to know what the current processing time is. In case you've received a response in the recent past, please post here with the following information:
(1) Date of submission of request.
(2) Date of response.
(3) Any communication regarding delays/extensions.

Interesting. I submitted the request around the same time, and still haven't received it.

9th Nov request is still not served yet and no word on extensions as well. I havent contacted them as well since i have to wait for the actual application to progress anyway.
I usually request under information act but forgot and applied via privacy act. Usually this privacy act requests take longer but now its dead slow.
Can i request again before even i get the one i earlier requested? or i will have to wait?

Oh, I didn't realize they had different processing timelines.

Not answering your question, but do you know of any official guidance to avoid a second request? I would imagine that it would be reasonable to submit a followup request after a few months, since it would be fair to assume that there would be additional notes from the last time.

Now I am thinking there is a difference if you requested based on the Information Act or the Privacy Act. That may explain why some applicants receive it faster than others.

I havent seen any restricting us but its just we usually wait for a month as their general processing time is one month.

Privacy Act is faster

I used the Privacy act when I requested it

My first one came in after 38 days and my second one came in after 47 days. FYI.
