Originally applied for parents' SuperVisa on Sept 25 2020 with upfront medical.
Reapplied thru the portal on Nov 25, 2021 without upfront medical.
Profile on portal updated with medical passed on Dec 2, 2021. Also received BVL on the same date.
Received PPR today - Dec 30, 2021

I think the same as well, I applied for my mother’s supervisa through new portal on September 29th with upfront medical and biometrics were done in October. After that no update at all. I feel like they are only processing supervisa applications through GC key, new portal supposed to be for faster processing but that’s not the case. It’s been over 90 days now. I am unable to decide if what to do now, i have been waiting patiently but I might need to take an action before it’s too late. But re applying means I will have to gather all the required documents with a new date??? Not sure what to do. I don’t understand why they even started the new portal if they are processing applications from GC key. It’s very frustrating.

This is happening to applicants from INDIA. crazy processing. i dont have hopes, i waited so long.. I will wait until Jan end 2022 and re-apply in GC key as 3rd application...

Hi all... Just checked GC key.. for both mother and father .. Final decision states - Application withdrawn. We will send email with details. The other application in IRCC portal still remains as is.. I dont know if they processing the application from IRCC portal now...

Will you provide them new documents like bank statement, property valuation etc.? How about NOA from CRA, will you use 2020 one? Please advise as I am thinking to re apply as well in GC key

i see my old application in GC key was withdrawn and in new IRCC portal "Eligibility review" status changed.

If re-applying then all documents need to be new. if supervisa the sponsors details need to be provided last NOA, latest 2 months pay stubs. My parents bank statement i used when reapplying was an old one dated Mar2021. i thought if they request will provide new.

account can be created in any name. You can create in their name. You can add in your GC key their applications as well. But when filling the applications be careful. you need to fill thinking dad or mom and not you(you are creating applications on their behalf).

They should prioritize both portals not the old one first. Very disappointing…

I applied at the old portal, and the processing time for my country has exceeded the mentioned period, so I cannot say IRCC prioritize old portal

What was the reason you chose? did you choose (1) reunification with family members or (2) supervisa?

Guys, I have applied my father's super visa from India. Biometric and medical is completed. Let's say, he is in US by the time PPR arrives. Can he get his Canada supervisa stamped in US or he has to travel back to India for that? Has anyone come across such situation? Thanks!

Not sure what they are doing. In these threads it feels like they are prioritizing only GC key at a time.

Hello siddiqui sb,
I applied super visa for my mother last month nov 25, 2021. Only biometric information updated because we did biometrics in 2019 when I applied for visit visa and and got rejected that time.
Now applied for super visa, my mother in Pakistan too, need your advise. Am so worried because I have a medical condition and need to reunite with my mom.
Please advise should I reply on IRCC portal or wait for their response on my current application through GCKEY.

there is an option "Purpose of Travel - Other (required) ", how can i show proof of return ticket of my parents(they are staying with me for almost 2 years).

if you are applying for a super visa, I would suggest using a super visa in the reason.
