Hi All,

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis since 7 years.
Me and my husband applied for Express Entry in 2019, AOR Jan 2020. I am the primary applicant.
Got my first medicals done in Dec 2019. Passed on 5th Feb 2020.
Long wait and then all thing stopped due to COVID.

In the mean time had an injury and my both elbows mobility reduced. Doctor said that due to injury RA affected that joint badly.
Now had a re-medical again on 16th Nov. 2021.

Panel physician noted this elbow restriction and mentioned it on my report :(
No update yet, but can it cause medical rejection. I am really tensed, don't know what to do. Can this cause PR rejection for us :(

Thanks in advance.

Arthritis should not be a reason for medical refusal. Of course it always depends on the severity of the condition and the expected costs to the Canadian health care system - and for this reason it's impossible to say what the result will be in your case. However generally speaking, arthritis shouldn't be a reason for refusal.
