Hi @legalfalcon
Hi sir really need your guidance.
My brother has applied and got his aor in FSW OJanuary 2020. He lives in Newzeland and was rejected a newzealand student visa after finishing his work visa in 2017 . He is fighting a case in the immigration appeals tribunal to overcome his decision. He thought this is not a rejection so he did not mention this in his ee profile however now someone told him that he should raise a webform and tell them. Is it too late? His GCMS show that his file is approved.

Received another remedicals request today!
1 year has not passed and they send a new request. God knows what is going on.
Earliry remedicals may be a sign that PPR is coming soon after so hoping that's the case for you

IRCC is currently discouraging applicants from going for remeds on their own, and when IRCC asks for remeds, they now send a IME number. If you get a remedy yourself, you may have a different IME number and it can take time for IRCC to add it to your file. So better wait for IRCC to ask for remeds.
I think the idea is that they want we redo med once they open our file for further processing. If we did it on our own, and they could not be able to process our files in the next few months, new med would be close to expire again.

Hi @legalfalcon

Wondering if you could help with my case.
I've recently relocated to another country and have updated the address via the webform. I also happened to request a GCMS note two months back and no news until now.
I've done remedical in Oct 2020 and two days ago they're asking me to do another remedical. However, in the IME form, it still reflects my old address.

So, I will proceed with the remedical but ask the doctor to change the address? or... I really don't know how to proceed.
Please assist me

Thanks!
Just get the meds done. As regards the address, it may continue to be reflected as the old one but will be checked by the officer during the final review. As long as you have sent the web form to change the address, that is what matters.

Hi @legalfalcon,

I am an outland FSW applicant (from India).

AOR: 3rd January, 2020
Medical passed: 30th January, 2020
Biometrics completed: 18th Feb, 2020
Passed new medical: 13 November, 2021

I received PPR from IRCC today. Along with passport and photograph, they have asked for my eye color and height. I do not remember whether I have put dark brown or black in my original application as regards to my eye color. Similarly I do not remember what was the exact height measurements that I put in original application. Where can I find these columns (eye color and height) in original application form as I could not find these columns in my profile. does it has to be exactly same as original application. Please help.

Thank you in advance.

Also, thank you very much for always replying to the queries. This page has always provided valuable information and has been of great help throughout the immigration process.

Big congratulations to you,

We have the same AOR. Please did you get a remedical request or you did an upfront medical. Also, kindly share your VO?

Thanks

Hello All

I have a couple of questions related to adding newborn child to our application. I could not find the answers to these questions in existing forums, so I am asking here. I would really appreciate any insights.

Background: Our AOR (me and my wife) is Jan 4, 2020. We are Indian Citizens, but living in the US for last 10 years. In the last few days, we received a couple of ghost updates. On Nov 13, the review of medical results section went to "you do not need a medical exam" and on Nov 17 (today), it went to "we are reviewing the results of your medical exam". I am guessing it means there is movement on my application and we might get PPR in a few weeks or months.

1. We are expecting a newborn child any day now (very likely within 1 week). At that time, I will raise a webform to add our baby to the application. I am assuming we will not get PPR within a week. So, after IRCC has processed our baby's application, they might send PPR again, which I guess will take a few months at minimum. HOWEVER, the entire process of getting a US passport for my daughter will probably take around 4 months (6 weeks to get birth certificate and another 7-9 weeks for US passport after that). I am wondering what happens if we get the PPR for all 3 of us before US passport arrives for our daughter? I assume we can ask IRCC to extend the deadline to send new passports and they will likely agree to that?

2. In general, does anyone have a clue how long IRCC is taking to add newborns to the application these days? I know the timelines are all over the place. For future planning purposes (like renewing current lease), I wonder if adding newborn baby is going to extend the process by another year or so.
