Which confirms the bio metrics are valid and provided when a decision is finalized on application. Decision can be approval or rejection.

Many post I have seen here and it says that once u get bvl That means the ur application is approved . Is that right ?

I'm due January 7 and still waiting for my mom to be approved.
I would really need some advise

you should have applied visitor visa on compassionate grounds.when you choose visit Canada, it asks reason, you choose compassionate. there is a video on YouTube by humpty dumpy 2, same case as yours. after biometric done, visa will be approved in 2 days if you choose compassionate reason. there is a process: you get 2 forms, then get signed by doctor, then get approved by public health canada, watch the video

Hello all,

Did anyone from India get a super visa recently who applied in 2020? I applied for my parents' super visa on November 5, 2020, have not had any activity at all. Submitted a webform for exemption but got a typical response month ago.

This is getting super frustrating.

My parents already had Visitor Visa, however my father’s Visa is going to be expire soon - I applied for the Super Visa for my for them and below are the updates

• Date of Application - 17 October 2021 (GCKEY)
• Confirmation of Online Application Transmission - 17 October 2021
• Submission Confirmation – 19 – October 2021.
• Biometrics – does not required as it’s done with Visitor Visa Application in (2019)
• Status: In Progress (Waiting for Medical)

Can some one share some info?
Does GC KEY Application still valid? Do i need to use New Portal?
Can some one share weblink of webform?

I applied parents supervisa in 2020, biometrics and medical done, no result. Should I apply visitor visa or supervisa again? what will happen to previous application if I apply visitor visa? which option to choose on cic website: apply visitor visa or applied before Sept 7th. Do we need new documents for financial support like CA letter, bank statements, invitation letter?

in my case it was updated the same day as the biometrics were done...it is automatic no action needed from our end

You can apply again if you had submitted original application before sep 7... either using GC key or IRCC portal...the original application will be automatically withdrawn. And also you don't need to repeat Biometrics. Check the medical expiry date too...there is a possibility that you may be requested to do it again.

I got the bvl letter on 3rd nov n medical passed on same day after that nothing . Anyone have any idea what to do ? Supervisa application for the parents

BVL does not gaurantee visa approval. There are many who got BVL followed by rejection. So it will be either approval or rejection

What would be the chances for my parents case supervisa as per your opinion as they have passed the medical n also reviewing eligibility also my parents got visitor visa in 2019 n they came to canada n return back to India before the expiry of six month.

if parents had prior visa, then rejection is minimal.. I am sure your parents will get approval soon.. If now they reject only reason was due to medical. but that they have passed. so u will get approval...
