Hi djsingh
I am also in the same boat as you. I don't have a relationship proof with my mother other than the Passport. Were you able to figure out any solutions. Did IRCC accepted your documents?
Hey Pankaj I had similar problem, but I had my indian passport, 10th certificate also my mum had visited me on supervisa. I wrote the following letter of explanation which was accepted by IRCC. You can explain your situation, it might help.

Subject: Letter of Explanation
Attached: (1) {School/Education Certificate of XYZ}, (2) { Old Indian Passport(before becoming Canadian Citizen)}
Toronto, September 15,2021
Dear Officer,
I am writing this letter to explain my inability to provide the birth certificate for the sponsor, my son,
XYZ(UCI NO)).
My son/sponsor, XYZ, was born on January 01,1900 in a small city of Punjab, India. The birth registration was not a common practice done during that time and the school/education certificates were accepted as the proof of date of birth and relationship to parents for all documentation.
Since his birth was not registered, we do not have his birth certificate but his school/education certificates.
My son who now is a Canadian citizen since 2014 also used the same documents for his immigration process. And the same documents were used for my SuperVisa application as a proof of relationship that helped me to travel to Canada.
I am attaching the same documents supporting the proof of my relationship to him as his mother.
I hope you will consider this letter and I am of course at your disposal to provide you with any additional information/documents that you deem useful for the further processing.
Thank you in advance for the time devoted to the treatment of my application.
