Nope. Its there with no update.

I have not noticed that people who did upfront medicals their files don't get viewed earlier but who didn't their files get opened and meds are requested and passed as soon as they are submitted...Or is it just my thinking? I saw a couple of examples who applied post Sep 7 but meds passed as they were not upfront...

My parents already had Visitor Visa, however my father’s Visa is going to be expire soon - I applied for the Super Visa for my for them and below are the updates

• Date of Application - 17 October 2021
• Confirmation of Online Application Transmission - 17 October 2021
• Submission Confirmation – 19 – October 2021.
• Biometrics – does not required as it’s done with Visitor Visa Application in (2019)
• Status: In Progress (Waiting for Medical)

Does anyone know when can I expect the medical request; based on their timeline?
Can my parents travel to Canada on existing VISA, while Super visa application In process?

Not sure though but it usually happens around 6 weeks after application. I have noticed that people who did upfront like mine their file don't get open too quick. so in a way its good that you have not done medicals, once you receive medical request then things will move faster...as after you upload meds it usually gets approved within 1-2weeks then then followed by BVL and PPR in next couple of weeks. But again there is no right way to know the timelines, as off late its all over the place

From what I have read if its before 7sep then it is better to re-apply using IRCC portal. But I would let other experienced people respond too

A quick question..usually after PPR, within how many days should the passport be submitted for stamping. Asking this as my father in law is planning to visit my sister in law in a different country and he may receive PPR when he is not in India.

Usually, 30 days are given by IRCC. If you can't submit by that date you should send an email and raise webform immediately to let IRCC know you will need extra time and provide your reason.

Write an email to the visa office and raise a web form requesting urgent processing as your parents fall under the exempt category. In some cases, this has led them to open files for review.

- Date of Application Submitted/AOR: 30 Sep 2021
- Biometric Requested: 2nd Oct 2021
- Biometric Submitted: 7th Oct 2021
- Biometric Updated in Portal: 7th Oct 2021
- Medical Requested or Date of Upfront Medicals: Upfront sometime in Sep
- Medical Completed: Sep 2021
- Medical Passed: Nov 10th 2021
- Additional Information (if any): Eligibility started Nov 10th
- Passport Request (PPR) Date: --
- Visa Office (if known): Guess New Delhi (India)
