So, if their BG check is expiring soon, then they are a priority for IRCC over us who submitted in 2019?
Yes, this is what I think. They don’t care when you submitted your application. What they care about is when your background check is expiring (if the rest is fine). That’s why the later applicants are moving faster than the 2019 ones. Our second (the first one expired when they were relaxing at home) BG check was run in 2021 what brings its expiry date to 2022, what eventually makes our applications of low priority in terms of oath invitation…
My notes say that my paper file was transferred to the online ceremony room in July 2021 and was not touched ever since. A lot of other applicants receive oath invitation in a short while after DM. You think they are slowing down my file on purpose? No, my BG check is expiring April 2022, that’s why…

I guess they are working on applicants whose AOR was October or November 2020 right now.YES, in Process April 2021, hopefully this will end soon
So I guess I’ll need to wait for 1 or 2 months for oath invitation, because my AOR was December 22, 2020, which was almost 6 months after I mailed my application.
Guys, November 2020 applicant engage from Montreal received an oath invite for March 15, 2022. His/her In Process (=BG check) was on March 26, 2021. So the oath is scheduled 1.5 weeks before the BG expiration date.
I guess if you did not receive a specific date for your oath (especially if you were waiting for some months already), IRCC is trying to find a spot much earlier than your BG check expires... At least this is what I hope is happening...

Thanks and i hope so as well. Some of my plans to visit country of birth later this year is shattered.

I applied in early July 2020.
Application was received on July 7th.
Got AOR on December 22, 2020.
“In Process” on Feb 23, 2021.
Test was done on July 1, 2021.
DM on July 5, 2021.
I remember your timeline was several days before mine.
According to Orgcom, I guess I’ll receive oath invitation before Feb 23, 2022. You very likely will get oath before me.
