Hey @WaseemWasii, what did you put your parents citizenship status in UAE, my parents are from india but lived in UAE from ages and as you know UAE does not have PR or citizenship
They just sent biometrics letter a day after submitting the application . Nothing else. Hope it’s a glitch. Sent them a webform to update.Did you read /open all the messages. Unless you open and read they don't go off.. sometimes glitch too.. Also check if any document they requested..
Oh god.. i dont hear any supervisa applications getting approved at all. I dont know what they are upto..Last day the CIC agent told me that the average processing time shown for India in the CIC website could be incorrect. At the time of call, it was 47 days after biometrics. Now it is 50 and she told me it is unreal and it is very rare.
Go back to start of the application and select visit children/grandchildren - the documents will then change (super visa) to include medical insurance, etcHi Everyone,
I am applying for super visa for my father using the new IRCC portal. In the list of required documents, generated for the application, I do not see proof of medical insurance, while my understanding is that medical insurance proof is required at the time of submission of the application. I checked twice to ensure I provided correct inputs at the beginning:
* Visitor visa or super visa
* To unite with an immediate family member who is a Canadian citizen
* Stay duration 12 months (2022-01-15 till 2023-01-15)
Only documents listed (and seem to be required) are: "proof of relationship", funds, "proof of family member's status" and "passport"
Although medical insurance needs to be purchased before he travels, I would like to know if I am making any mistake or it is not a mandatory document for the application any more. Did anyone here have the same situation and how did they handle it?
Here you go:Hi, I’m applying supervisa for my parents. I have two questions.
1. Whom should I address Invitation Letter? I wrote the letter including everything (As I’m writing it to the visa officer) as per CIC website. But, in GCkey it says you should write the letter to your parents. I’m confused can someone please guide.
2.I just got my PR and I started working full-time this year only. So, I don’t have NOA meeting minimum income cutoff. I’m providingEmployment letter (salary mentioned) and pay stubs is this sufficient?
thanks in advance.
Okay, now you need to wait and watch when they respond to that query.. Ages they take to respond to webform...They just sent biometrics letter a day after submitting the application . Nothing else. Hope it’s a glitch. Sent them a webform to update.

@civiluv24 this is what they saidI did a travel exempt we form yesterday and got a reply today, below is what they wrote - guess I am applying they new portal
We have received your request for a written authorization under the travel restrictions exemptions.
Please note that IRCC will only issue written authorization to an applicant who holds a valid Canadian travel document (i.e. electronic travel authorization [eTA] or visitor visa). Based on our review of your enquiry and the information in our system, we can confirm that your application for a visitor visa is in our processing queue. However, since you do not yet have a valid Canadian travel document, we are unable to process your request for an exemption to the Canadian travel restrictions. As such, your request will not be processed.
While we are unable to provide an update on the processing of your visitor visa application, please note that if you applied before September 7, 2021 and need to travel to Canada now for one of the following reasons, we recommend that you submit a new application through the IRCC portal. If you require written authorization, your request will be processed as part of your new visa application.
Ok, so, what they are implying is past visit visa holders who want to re-visit amid pandemic can be exempted to that form.@civiluv24 this is what they said
