Thanks @civiluv24
Good to know that vendor doesnt matter in case of insurance.
The vendor doesn't matter to IRCC but it will matter for YOU.

How good is that if you need to claim insurance and cannot get anything from them but have to pay everything out of pocket.
Medical cost for visitors are EXPENSIVE in Canada. 1 hospital visit with in-patient treatment can easily go over 10K.

And they do come after you to pay the bill as the children/sponsor. So choose wisely.

Did they provide travel exemption confirming in email ? because heard many saying an emails response comes like "you do not yet have a valid Canadian travel document, we are unable to process your request for an exemption to the Canadian travel restrictions. As such, your request will not be processed." dont understand this.

Did you receive such email after submitting travel exemption.

yes point to be noted, it depends on how you want, but in less amount not all are covered. But IRCC does not bother who the vendor is.

Hi, can you please let me know what site I should apply for a supervisa for my mom? Is it the old way (IRCC account)? Or is it the new portal?
If the new portal; in the very first page they seem to be be treating visitor n supervisa as the same...where do i distinguish it as a supervisa?
Thanks.

No its for prioritising your application if you are exempt from travel restrictions as immediate family.
