Two questions.

If BOWP main application had errors with Form 5710e but was subsequently submitted with corrections via web forms, Will it get processed?

If BOWP is refused/ rejected but PR is in process, what status does one need to have to stay legally?

It's hard to say for sure - but it should be processed. Might depend on the errors and it might depend on whether they were corrected before the original work permit expired.

If the BOWP is refused and the primary applicant no longer holds a valid work permit at the time that refusal, then you'll fall out of status in Canada. You will need to submit a restoration application to restore status to visitor. Unfortunately you'll need to stop working as soon as the BOWP is refused.

Thank you for the reply. The corrections were sent before the expiry of the work permit. How does one restore status as a visitor? Does that impact the PR application in process? PR is 80% complete.
