Anyone from Montreal got online test invite and/or oath ceremony

Got the test invite but the result is not updating!

If you did last week.. Give couple of days this week. because of long weekend could be delayed

Happened to me when i gave June last week because of July 1st an all.

Other status are showing as what ?

I got it today. Appeared the test on Thursday night, Today morning at 6.00 AM it was updated.

All others are as "In progress" and oath = not started

It looks like they'll be meeting their 2020 target soon and most who applied in the latter half of 2020 will become the new forgotten cohort, similar to many 2019 applicants. I just received my GCMS notes - November 2020 applicant, background completed, test taken in August 2020, test status updated to completed a couple of days after test and no other updates since. Nothing in the notes indicates that my case is non-routine. Language, physical presence and prohibitions haven't been started and all have a due date in February 2022. The only officer notes mention the scheduling of my online test, which was in August, and that he/she was satisfied with the ID document presented for the test.

I’m scared:’( I’m a July 2020 applicants, but I got AOR on December 22, 2020. So I’m one of late 2020 applicants who will be forgotten soon:’(

Their performance is measured based on how many applications they finish per year. They probably already met their target for 2019, so they now focus on 2020 and 2021 applicants to meet their targets for these years. As I said, they only care about their KPIs, while we suffer waiting to finish this nightmare. Fairness means nothing to them.

I saw in Facebook post that one of Montreal applied in July 2020 has received the Oath invite in October. Seems sone progress

they received my application 15th January 2020.DM 29th April 2021,till now no ceremony invitation.our background is simple,no travel history till we are here in Canada.but my wife filled application form with French,I filled with English,Is this the reason why our application is so delayed?

Nope, Montreal office is lazily slow.

Technically the language you apply in should have no bearing on how fast your application is processed. At least that's what I would like to think. But I noticed in my GCMS notes that the case officer notes on my file (saying that they verified the ID I submitted for the test and that it was satisfactory) were in French only even though I applied in English.

Sounds like urgently processed. IRCC is sitting waiting for UP requests only. Normal applications can wait indefinitely.

Seems disgusting.... I am July 2019 applicant, exam status changed on April 21st, 2021 and am still waiting with no DM....

Yes I contacted them using webform: I received the standard reply that they received my file and it is in progress
