Hi guys. I applied for my SDS study permit months ago and still no reply. Feeling really distressed as I'm currently taking my courses online and it's super hectic. Any advice would be appreciated.

Timeline:
Biometrics given: July 27, 2021 (Previous application that I withdrew to apply for SDS)
Upfront medical: July 29
SDS applied: July 30
Medical Updated: August 9
Eligibility review started: August 16

NO UPDATES since then. It's so frustrating. I've raised webforms attaching letters from my university indicating I need to be on campus soon as well as emailed IRCC several times. They always hit me back with a generic reply.

My application is at Delhi IRCC office I believe. I'm a 22 year old CS graduate at UofT right now. There is no grounds to reject my application so I'm not expecting that but quite unsure why they're taking so long.

If you filed under SDS from India then file usually goes either Ottawa or Edmonton office. I don't think you would get any response to webforms as they would send you automatic response, so unfortunately all you can do is wait.

This theory too has gone down the drain as today marks one month for me since my medical update.
Its really frustrating man.
What if we expect our result two months after giving Biometrics and not a month after medical? Let's wait for yours till October 26th
If not then I do not know, it has been affecting mental health so much.

so far I have seen since Afghanistan thingy started, Non-SDS seems to be processed much faster than SDS (for cases that I've come across)

SDS is getting slower and unpredictable.

Yeah, its really frustrating. I had met a loyalist college fellow student in VFS Bangalore office. He is also waiting. But his friends who applied at the same time got PPRs today and yesterday it seems. Lets hope for the best. Good luck my friends...

This guy is just out of college so I was thinking just out of college students get visa faster, but this fellow is still waiting. The more we expect it to come the more it wont come :)
