Anyone landed recently with valid COPR in Canada? My dependent is ready to travel and need to know if we need to complete anything before his travel or carry any specific document while traveling.

Hi All,

Need some idea regarding timeline:

CEC: PA Inland with outland dependent(Pakistan)
AOR-January 2-2021
Medicals/BIL: Feb Start
Info Sharing/Eligibility/Criminality: Passed
2 GUs so far.
Security Started: June 23

I have been following up regularly on file. Got a chance to talk to CIC Agent today. They mentioned last comment on File is on September 8th saying "They are reviewing Security".
On the basis of current pace of CPCs, what is expected?
Day/Weeks/Months?

Appreciate if someone share the case with same timeline.

Thanks

Just an update:

Remedical Requested: September 21.
Remedical Passed: October 12

Applied for permanent residency under CEC.
Principal Applicant- Inland. 1 Dependent Applicant- Outland(India)
AOR - 14th March, 2021
Medical Passed: 26th March, 2021
RCMP requested: 8th July, 2021
RCMP submitted: 2nd Sep, 2021

No update post that.

I have a query, if principal applicant is in India while he receives eCOPR, will the existing work permit become invalid or he can travel back to Canada with the Work Visa (TRV) until he accepts the declaration for eCOPR ?

Inland Applicants have been getting PPR for outland dependents, a lot of us got last week.
In my case eCoPR came on October 1, PPR came on October 6. Don't loose hope.

Thank You @legalfalcon for the prompt advice and help,
One last ask also kindly,
Is the IRCC authorization for the immediate dependents still required for travelling to canada?
Spouse fully vaccinated on open Spousal WP util mid dec. and Kid 6 yrs old not vaccinated planning to travel in Nov 1st week.

There is no longer any need for any authorization to travel. Anyone with a valid visa can travel now.

Thanks sir for valuable information

Please answer this question if primary applicant outside in india when receive email how many days between came back canada and complete formalities. Any deadline they ask in email

The email clearly states that you have to be in Canada to use the online portal. If you are not in Canada, you will have to inform IRCC and ask them to instead send the PPR.

Alternatively, you can return to Canada, and use the portal by confirming your residence in Canada. There is no date, but should be done within 1-2 weeks.
