They have the authority to verify any piece of information you are providing. It is under their discretion.

When I was in my homecountry I had 2 job experience during the same time period.For the first time along other documents I submitted one of my job experience for SOWP and got rejected However, a mistake happened during second SOWP application submission. I submitted the second job experience this is different from the first one does it create any problem for the process. Is this a misrepresentation.

Well they do a security check on all applicants. If your spouse or dependent is doing something "weird" it may be found. Besides misrepresentation is defined as this : "for directly or indirectly misrepresenting or withholding material facts relating to a relevant matter that induces or could induce an error in the administration of this Act"

Key parts are "directly" ie done by you OR indirectly ie done by someone else on your behalf (like a representative)
"material facts" meaning facts that matter. Like fogetting to mention a visa rejection matters. But forgetting exact time of day of resigning your job 8 years back? May be not.

"relevant matter" means for what matter those facts are about. If the information is about security then it matters that if your spouse worked with say some criminal group. What is not as relevant is if she worked daily or sporadically so long you are not claiming points for their work.

Depends upon what kind of personal work we are talking about and what kind of information you gave.

Did you claim points for it? Or did you mention it as personal activities. if not, ircc usually will not bother reaching out to employers bur can still find issues using discrepancies elsewhere like address history or detailed tax documentation.

What kind information you hid or said false? Did you hide the fact that your dependent was employed doing something that could be considered illegal in Canada? Or did you forget to mention one 2 week internship at local restaurant? Former is very material while later is less of a trouble, though be adviced that people have been rejected and charged with misrepresentation even for things that do not contribute to points.

To be honest, if your application is not truely accurate there is a risk of misrepresentation charge. It all comes down to what level.

So you have discrepancies from your past application data.

Now since you forget to declare an entire job experience, it can be trouble. Consult a lawyer.

How much time has passed? If not much, I will say let the application be and just get your situation consulted with a professional ASAP. These days getting a new ITA as a CEC is taking a bit longer because rounds are slowing down.

If you are not claiming points, mostly it should not matter but having discrepancies is not a good thing. IRCC's definition of misrepresentation is just too wide. Someone needs to look into all documents and your past rejections. Bascially sit with a professional / lawyer to review your situation. As another applicant, I have not faced this situation exactly. Since your application is inflight so doing it ASAP will be good. @legalfalcon might be able to suggest better.
