Hey,
I have applied for Jan 2022 intake

Medical done - 7th August
Visa applied -12th August
BIL-13th August

Biometric-7th September ( updated on same date)

Medical updated-16th September

Eligibility review started on 16th September

Can someone provide approximately how much time I will have to wait?

I applied in June and still no decision on my profile. You can see my timeline in my signature but based on what I've seen, maybe around 3 or 4 months but take into consideration that every application is different. Good luck!!!

Trust me mate, from the perspective and application circumstances of a September intake student. It is an eternity:p
Yeah, September students got screwed badly...very unfortunate situation. Hope Jan intake does not face the same situation. Agreed, compared to September its eternity...

Adding to this, from my experience tracking applications. Most NON-SDS applicants hear back within 3 months. So anyone filing in August is right on track and can expect their decisions by November. That'll be a bit late but still manageable.

SDS is also on the same timeline, so what is the difference between these 2. It costed us more?! :)

Latest stats from 21st September. Heard about two refusals, one was filed on 8th July and the other on 15th July. Sorry if I'm spamming this forum, just trying to keep all you updated with the latest facts and figures.
Ah no. We gotta stay updated. And I appreciate you doing that for us here.

SDS applicants fare far far far better by any stretch of imagination. My classmate from undergrad filed for study permit via sds on 12th july and had his permit on 22nd july in hand. I filed on 15th july and I'm still here waiting for result while he has been Canada for over a month now.

Ohh man that is awesome, 10 days. But I have seen some SDS waiting for 3 months for approval. We are seeing SDS updates in our group thread but some are old applications waiting.

Yeah, in statistics we call these cases outliers. There are some factors which cause these outliers like delayed biometrics, delay by hospitals in updating medicals at backend, documentation issues and some other factors on similar lines.

It's through SDS
I’d say maybe a week or two. In my opinion they’re priotising Jan 2022 applications not Sept so you’re lucky. I’ve seen lots of PPR recently for August 12, 13 etc. But the only difference is your biometrics is very late in comparison. But you’re eligibility started so that’s a good sign. I think ..
