PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

Anyone here waiting on their first PR card and sent their application in March to the Ottawa office?

Sent mine on March 9, 2021 and still waiting. I linked my application online on June 6 and and I noticed a ghost update around 2 weeks ago.

I am in the same situation. I sent my PR card renewal request June 15, and I have not received AOR yet. Therefore, it doesn't show on ECAS. My citizenship grant application is in process and it shows on ECAS.
When did you send your PR card renewal application? Hope you won't have to wait for too long.

Sorry, why do you have to send an application for first PR card? Doesn't it get sent to your address within a few months of landing? Or has the process changed?

We started processing your application on September 16, 2021.

Yes, you need to fill in the address history, work & educational history information. Most importantly to attach all the documents as stated on the checklist. Also ensure you have a copy of Canadian Name Change Certificate as they will not accept the name change certificate from your home country. As that had happened to my case and I have to get one done here and my application was delayed for a month due to this reason. Fortunately, they did not return or reject my application.

About 170 days.

They will most likely mail it to the address you entered in your application. Call them tomorrow to make sure

Processing time has been updated today, as usual (Sept. 21):
New AND Renewal PR card applications: 133 Days

Renewal time is still going up but it appears that it is speeding up a little based on the convo that has been going on here in the past few days. And it appears now we are in the June applications.

It also sounds like yours was selected for in person pick up. Call IRCC to make sure - if they said yours was selected for pick-up, the only thing you can do is to wait until they contact you.

-I included an employment certificate that also says that I need a valid pr/canadian citizenship to be able to perform my job.
- company id, last 4 paystubs, letter explaining asking for urgent processing detailing the reasons as to why i need an urgent processing

May I know did you get a "Decision Made" status update on your application before the PR card was sent?
Also, is #4 mentioned in the application status as it is, that they sent you the PR card by mail?

Decision made before card was sent. And yes, you have the exact copy/paste from the application status check portal.

Just want to update about my daughter & wife's application status as I sent it for PR renewal...I receiv3d AOR for both yesterday and showing DECISION MADE today.

Permanent Resident Card

Also, for my wife there was name change..which I am seeing a new name online and address update also...on both applications
