Hello, guys! Wanted to share some great news! Finally got PPR!! After a long wait, here is my timeline:
May 19th - application submitted
May 28th - biometrics done and processed
August 11th- eligibility started and medicals requested
August 20st- medicals done and sent
August 26th - medicals approved
September 3rd - BVL and PPR

For everyone waiting, I was also very anxious, could not sleep well, stressed, but a decision comes when you least expect it. Lets keep hope! Feel free to contact for amg doubts.

Hello! Have you received a decision yet? I submitted my application from Chile (which is reviewed by the Buenos Aires VAC) on June 25th and gave my biometrics on August 16th but haven't received any further update.

Applied on May 15 last minute
Biometrics - Done in 2019 (since I had previously visited Canada & hold 10 years multiple entry)
Medicals - Done on June 3 (upfront)
Appliccation: Non SDS

Medical - No update (it says "Not required" on Portal)
Biometrics -says "Not Required" on portal (although my biometrics is already done for 10 years)
Status: "Background check" since day 1

Quite frustrating as no change whatsoever, been 2 months and 10 days

Nationality: Nepali

I am in the same boat. Applied May 15th and I'm still waiting for my eligibility review to start. I already had to defer my intake to January. I have a new deadline imposed by the university of December 15th. This seems like a long way away but in the IRCC universe, I seriously doubt whether they will make a decision on my application in time.

We don't have a choice than to wait. But from other trend, I saw some few person that apply in May that IRCC just issue ppr to them with there eligibility just started at the same time but they did upfront medicals.

Fingers crossed then! It seems that there is no pattern to follow for their processing, we just have to sit on our hands and wait. I thought my application would be simple as I don't need a medical or to submit biometrics due a previous visa. It's just eligibility and background
