Guys, my parents' Super visa request was approved today.

By copying and pasting here, I provide what they wrote on Final decision section: "Your application was approved. You need to send us you valid passport to finalize your application. Check your messages below for details."

Here's the timeline:

Submission confirmed: April 12, 2021
Bio request: April 13, 2021
Bio submitted: June 30, 2021
Medical request: August 11, 2021
Medical submitted: August 27, 2021
Medical passed: Sep 7, 2021
PPR: Sep 9, 2021

Super visa is a type of visitor visa so not sure this applies to super visa or not. I hate when they put vague information and didn't even bother to send emails to applicant. Any one here reapplied supervisa?

This is freaking confusing. As per below website it looks like “Super Visa” is little different than “Visitor Visa”.. I wouldn’t take a chance to reapply with new information whereas my mum already passed medical twice upon their request

What is a super visa?
A super visa lets you visit your children or grandchildren for up to 2 years at a time. It’s a multi-entry visa that provides multiple entries for a period up to 10 years.

If you want to stay for 6 months or less, apply for a visitor visa.

We just received the super visa. Planning to come to Canada next year.

Has anybody heard of specified period of time that the visa holders need to enter Canada? For example, if the applicant didn't enter Canada after 6 moths from the date of approval, the visa gets cancelled.
We are worried that the visa might get cancelled because we couldn't arrive on time.

Hi, I submitted my mother's supervisa application on 6th spt, 2021. Got biometric req on next day i.e. 7th sept, 2021. But dates available at vfs centres were starting from Nov 8th so we booked that. Now, its mentioned in BIL that if you cant submit biometrics in 1 mont, we have to raise webform. So looking at scenario ight now, Covid and dates are not available, should we raise webform for explaining biometric delay? If yes, when should we do this, near end of 1 month period?

Hi everyone I applied for my in laws on March 17 , 2021 and still waiting for super visa
Timeline March 17 , 2021 applied
medical done March 20, 2021
Biometric done April 16, 2021
Now waiting haven’t heard from them since then it says in background check and process

does anyone know how long it takes for background check and after medical cuz my in laws been waiting since march 2021
