At this point you can’t predict what happens next. I was glad when I got the test invite, but now it’s been 6 months after test. Others have already gotten their test and oath with 2 months apart. So anything is possible.

Wow you’ve taken the test 6 months ago? Have you ordered GCMS notes ?

Sent an email to cic-Edmonton yesterday regarding my test. I stated in the email that my test was completed 2 weeks ago but no change has been made in my tracker to suggest that it has been done. Got an email back yesterday almost an hour later saying they have to review it to ascertain that I passed, bla bla bla. Only for my tracker to be updated later at night yesterday as test completed. For me this just confirms my nudge certain case managers just doing whatever they like and taking their jolly time on people’s file.

What is the email address for CIC-Edmonton? Our background check was completed Feb and May 2021, however, there are no further updates since then. Thank you.

If IRCC can prioritize Afgan Refugees, why can't they also prioritize 2019 and 2020 applicants waiting for years? Why are they jumping the queue and processing 2021 leaving us behind? Make it make sense. Just felt like ranting!

It’s just another opportunity for them to seize on outside externalities and justify their lack of efficiency and carelessness about immigrants already in the country.

Hi There

my wife and I applied for our citizenship in June 2020, received the AOR - Oct 2020, gave out test - May 2021 (passed 20/20) - verified, background check - completed as of July 2021. But since then there has been radio silence. We moved homes a month ago and updated our address as well (which said would take 15 days but dosen't seem to reflect the new address). No additional documentation has been asked for so far. We applied from Mississauga, Ontario. Any suggestions on the way forward please?

Hi, I just finished my video oath this afternoon between 1:00PM to 2:30PM, I received my oath email on Sept 02.

Not received invitation by email yet but just checked my status on the new tool and my test eligibility period is Sep 10 - Oct 1. Does this mean I can actually login to the test website from Friday? Also, Everything except ceremony still set to "In progress"

Yes. You'll probably receive an email tomorrow or day after.

You should be able to take the test from 12 AM on September 10th.

I applied june 2020, all I have is AOR, I never expected it to take this long.
