Remotely done Masters from UK LJMU,got ECA as Masters from WES. Concerned abouy whether ircc will accept it as i do not have any travel history to UK

I got my LJMU and Upgrad Masters evaluated as Masters from WES however, I heard from one of my friends that IRCC may reject my application saying that how can a course can be done from UK if the candidate has not visited it. Can any body please help ? Is there anybody who got this credential accepted and got PR Visa ? If yes, please share the solution.

Pls go ahead with your application, many people have gotten ppr with courses done online, the location of study will be the country you were in as at when you wrote your exam and not the UK, there’s absolutely nothing to worry about.

Yes, but in wes report, the country is mentioned as United Kingdom for LJMU Masters. There is nothing specifically mentioned whether it is country of study or country of university

Obviously that’s what will be in the report because it is a UK school
When filling your profile you will be asked country of study, just put the country you were in and indicate online course.

I have done B.Tech in CSE and currently doing full time job in India, did you attended it full time or did part-time as this sounds interesting to me and can boost CRS too without spending lot of by becoming an International Student.

Actually this was an online Masters course of 6 months done from LJMU in association with upGrad. However, prior to this I had done a one year post grad diploma in Data science course which was online too from IIIT-B (International institute of IT - Bangalore) and in association with upGrad due to which I got this credit transferred to Masters course of LJMU. Hence, masters consumed only 6-months. On the transcript, LJMU memtion it as Part Time mode of study.

Oh okay, actually I am planning for a 1yr Post Graduate Study route then getting 1yr Work Experience too boost my CRS along with Indian Experience, so thought if I go by this but since I don't have siblings in Canada I need 8777 score even after Master but with Canadian Job Exp it will get bit up.

yup, that would be a nice option instesd of now planning to study here in India to get the PR. I would have done same, may be a 2 year course, if it wasn't for IELTS and masters

As UpGrad LJMU master program is associated with IIIT-B (110 credits from IIIT-B goes to this masters and 60 earned from LJMU) do I need to specify both of these programs, i.e PG Diploma, and masters. Or just mention LJMU in the WES form.

I included both in the wes report. I suggest you too, to imclude both because wes would not charge you for no of degrees and IIIT B & LJMU both sends your transrcipts online . Hence, all your evaluation of ljmu and iiitb would fetch you report within 1 week after they send ur transcrtips. i got it in 3 days after they sent my transcrtips online

Thanks, I was concerned about IIIT-B. Because if I add then, WES said that I need to add bachelor degree as well. And I did my B.Tech from RTU, Kota. They still don't have a streamlined process for sending documents to the WES.
Have you also added your Bachelor's degree in WES profile?
