Wow...The longest wait for AOR I have seen was 11.5 months.

Today makes ten months for me.

October applicants who haven’t received their aor call cic and ask for TFN. Make sure your files are already in the system…

I was able to link my paper application and can see the application number EP* , still have not received any email regarding AoR. Will there be an AoR sent later? For someone with similar scenario what to expect next ? I recently, a week ago, sent my PCC via webform but no confirmation yet.

I tried calling IRCC many times but the automated assistant says no agent available and call gets disconnected.

What you mean able to link application but no AOR...Sorry but you guys might by mistaken.

You can only link an application once you get AOR.

Atleast you have something to go by. Apply for GCMS. That would give you some idea about the way the things are going.

You can apply through some gcms providers if you are outside Canada using your temporary file number and if you are inside Canada you can apply by yourself. Google gcms and links would appear and apply accordingly.

applied a month ago, no response yet. applied again last week. IRCC is just a mess. While the federal minister comes and announces measures for new applicants. While the applicants with files in Sydney NS can literally go to hell. basically this is what it all boils down to

I don't know why are you saying this with high confidence, but I saw other people do the same on this forum, linking the application before getting AOR.

I linked the application in GCKey, but it shows on ECAS as well.
