Yes totally! This would infact even reduce the work load from the VO as they then don't need to do a dual role of being a border security and a career councilor both at same time. They would then know all students arriving are from a list of approved DLI who have extremely high standards.
No every student can get into a top school and education is an industry out to make money. There is some minimal standards to be listed on a DLI but like in every country there is a wide range of postsecondary school standards. Some small towns with schools are essentially dependent on the school as a primary employer.

Makes sense when looked at this way. Look don't get me wrong, I totally understand getting entry into Canada is a privilege and not a right. These complaints just come from a place of someone really wanting to settle in Canada and eventually become a proud citizen, that's all :) Hopefully the processes do get streamlined & fairer in future.
You are applying for school to immigrate and likely wouldn’t study in Canada if education didn’t lead to an easy path to immigration. You are criticizing VO for not being fair but your goal is not primarily academic.

If you read few posts above, I genuinely want to study because I am looking at a career change. There is no way I would spend so much money and not study. I can tell you majority of the people looking at study are doing so with an intention to migrate and nothing wrong with that as long as you will genuinely complete your studies.

Didn’t say that there was anything wrong but you are complaining that the system isn’t fair for genuine students while you are studying in Canada to immigrate. I find it pretty ironic.

Then you are most likely talking to maybe 95% of the SP applicants :)

Big difference between using SP to illegally settle and on other hand, to use it as an advantage to migrate legally within the framework of the immigration points system.

Your arguments are flawed at the least. Everyone studies for a reason, whether it's to earn better money, a better career, a better lifestyle or all of them which Canada provides through a legal path. It doesn't mean the one who intends to settle in Canada through a study route is not a genuine student. There is a difference between entering Canada in the name of the study, dropping out of college and living illegally than studying legally, finishing a program and settling with a PR.

When a VO rejects, he puts an allegation on the applicant that he won't return to his home country at the end of the authorized stay while there is no proof of any illegal stay in any country from his travel history. These decisions have been overturned at the JR by a federal court, but sadly not everyone can afford to take that path.

I received my GCMS notes today and first line says ''PA seeks to obtain diploma/graduate certificate/undergraduate/post graduate'' I must be a super genius to do all of these course in one go! Why did VO reject me?

On a serious note, I have opted for masters which can clearly be identified from the LOA so if a human VO has reviewed it I cant understand why he couldn't see it. The notes are so generic and seems like it is written with a purpose to bulk apply this to all applicants they couldn't finish their files on time.
