December 2019 - Citizenship Application

Ottawa here, waiting , nothing done since December 2019. We called they told us the priority is vulnerable people and other categories.

In the same time people from December 2020 are getting the oath already. If we were born in Germany or france or any other nice country we would have seen much better progress and treatment than ourselves now.

Honestly not even sure about that, im English and still waiting for test invite

Aug 6 - update to the oath ceremony status to In Process according to the online tracker, but no email yet.
Aug 24 - ceremony scheduled.

Woohoo!!!!! This chapter has an end in sight!

Guys, i did not check my status for 2 weeks and decided to check today - Language, Presence and Prohibitions updated to Completed on 8/3/2021!

On 8/4/2021 Oath scheduled for November 12, 2021!

Please update the tracker.
I updated all my dates in my signature.
No additional information / FP / interview requested so far.

Once I receive an official invitation for the oath, I will let you know.

Updated the spreadsheet. Could you please provide the date when your application went to "Decision Made" status? Usually, this is the same date when "Prohibitions" was set to "Completed".

Hey guys,

Today I received an update in my tracker with the following message:

"Interview required
You've been scheduled to attend an interview with our official on August 10, 2021. Information and instructions will be sent to you."

However in my email I received a "Request Letter" asking me to send photos of all my passport pages of a period of 5 years ago. Since there was not information regarding to an interview (even on the spam folder), I am assuming the interview required status is regarding to the passport photocopies.

Does that make sense? Anyone have gone through this?

You'll have to send a copy of all the pages of all the passports that were valid in the eligibility period. If any stamps or visas aren't in English or French, you'll have to provide translations as well.

About the interview => The date seems to be off. You can no longer have an interview on the 10th because it is past business hours and this most likely is because of a bug. Many applicants have reported this bug with the interview so IMO, you can safely ignore it at this time.
