Title.
IRCC received my paperwork and emailed me on 1st April. I checked their processing time, it was about 27 months. Now I just checked again, it is 35 months now. I am wondering if anything could go wrong.

It's not clear what your question is.

Sorry. I was not myself when posting this thread.

Backstory: I am a full-time freelance translator, and I submitted my paperwork to IRCC this Feb. On 1st April, they replied to me, as a safe receipt of my application. The email, however, clarified that it was not to say they started to process my application. All I can do now is waiting for further notification.

I just noticed their processing time changed from 27 to 35 months. So I am confused. Is there anything wrong recently?

There are continued slower processing times due to covid and an application backlog. So processing is simply going to take longer and you can expect 35 months for your process. Of course this could go up further and of course go down.

Maybe you're right. Maybe I am simply worried by the possibility of a dire denial after long waiting. I just wish everything could work on the track.
