I have one more question that are we supposed to fill out background form only for 18 years or older people i.e I have 3 kids and all are under 12 so means that I will do it only for my wife

One last question, I paid fee for PR application and biometric for Wife, receipt shows total amount of PR and Biometric so how would I let Immigration know that I have paid Biometric fee for wife?

Do you still think that I should let staff know that it’s for my wife biometric i.e Through Letter of Explanation…

I have no additional family members to apply for and no agent! So there are two options in the list, we don’t need to choose, right? There is no need to choose the temporary protector in another item?

I have spouse and children outside Canada. Can I use this online portal? I only see one IMM 0008 form for myself. How can I fill a new IMM 0008 (and 5669 and 5406) for each of my overseas dependent? Thanks again!

So, every form i.e imm008, 5406 n 5669 has option to add family member details or to fill the form on behalf of your spouse and kids.

IMM 0008 Generic application
IMM 0008 SCH 14 Protected Person and convention Refugees
IMM 5406 Additional Family Information
IMM 5669 Background declaration

Please confirm apart from all these if any forms needs to be filled?
Also, How to sign protected person and convention refugee form online?

so, if you add them in IMM 0008, then you do not need IMM008 DEP?
