I received SA on July 15 and on July 21 I received AOR2 that they received my application in Ottawa IR!

Have you tried sending a webform to see what Ottawa IR means and to ask about your medical?

I didn’t want to call them about medical because I haven’t done the biometrics Yet once I am done that’s when I won’t settle until I receive it! U mean meaning of IR?

I have no visa office mentioned on SA. I have raised a webform to know the VO, but any idea where it should be ?

If no VO is mentioned, its mostly Ottawa. Lately, they are sending most applications there to offset the load in other offices (e.g NDVO).

could generally refer. to your biometrics letter.

After countless hours of googling I found out that IR stands for International relations. So Ottawa International Relations office

i had the same thing happen to me yesterday after getting a medical request which was submitted and passed as well as a biometrics request. What was explained to me is that when you application is forwarded from Sydney to the local VO it changes from in process to application received because the new office received it.
