I am in the same boat, the same timeline as you. It is so frustrating to experience this. Pray for those who wait for more than 30 days.
Hey, are you in any chance on implied status right now? Do you have any applications other than PR still in progress?

I have seen people receiving eCOPRs same day after submitting declaration, photo and address. And, there are people waiting for a month... I don't know what IRCC is doing.

Finally can say the wait is over, I received my ecopr today. But there is a mistake on my City of Birth- Its shortened. so say if XXX ALI then instead it has XXX AL, so I has been stripped off, not sure why IRCC would do that. Can anyone please advise if I would need to amend COPR before they mail my PR card.
Please guide me on this issue, not sure if City of Birth is important or not?

Hello, any suggestions please on this??

Thank you!!! I sent a similar email to the PORTAL this MONDAY and FINALLY received my eCOPR today!!~~

Have been waiting for 56 DAYS!! after submitting the In-Canada declaration, address and photo on the portal!~

1st email: May 18th
2nd email(credentials): May 19, upload all the info on the same day
Duplicate 1st email: June 21st
ECOPR: July 14th
PR card: waiting

So I think sending an email to the portal is really WORKS!!
Congratulations buddy! Glad your wait is finally over.

Did you just reply to the first portal email or did you draft a new message?

Do an amendment to correct those errors. It easy to do it
Could you please elaborate on this? I’ve seen senior members on this forum saying that these minor errors do not matter and they aren’t usually worth the hassle to amend. It appears 70% of people getting COPR are getting these errors so it just seems like IRCC are doing it on purpose. To amend, do you mean send a web form or go through the potentially long and tedious amendment process by physically mailing OSC the IMM1436 form? Please share your personal anecdotes as to how it’s easy to do, thank you!

Oh, I'm still here! Just had to take care of certain super serious PR-club-members-only things, if you know what I mean! (;
I’ll probably end up staying on this thread just to help answer questions and balance out what the happy-go-lucky hippies have to say with their unrelenting optimism (with peace and love, hippies!) ;)

Folks here including me missed you for sure. :D But gradually, we will have to disappear from here to be a part of some other threads/channels :p

I called IRCC today due to an incorrect original date of entry on my wife's eCoPR and she sent me a link to go through. We have to mail the amendment forms and documents to Ottawa. the processing time is 6 months.

Not to worry.. they can print only limited number of characters hence it is not printed fully. No need to amend anything.

Would love to witness your reaction hearing another 6 months mentioned. Did you go ahead and submit the amendment form?

Edit: I personally will not amend the errors on my COPR. The COPR itself is a temporary document and prone to human errors, and when the PR card is produced, it will not contain the same information. It’s best you call IRCC to confirm that the information they actually have on you in their system is correct. Your PR card will be based on that information and not the COPR itself.
I believe the amendment exists as yet another bureaucratic formalities, but in the grand scheme of things, 6 months turnaround time really shows how meaningless the amendment is for any errors.

Not an issue. It’s just hit a number of letters limit and not printed on the COPR, but IRCC has the correct info. For me, the place of issue for the COPR is also shortened to “OSC - Oper” and Vancouver International Airport as the place of arrival shortened to “Vancouver In”.
Thanks a lot @mapple007 for your help. I hope they have right information, do you think I need to call them to confirm just in case? I really liked the information you have on your signature.

As per my understanding, CoPR document is required when citizenship is applied (not sure if required for PR extension), so wouldn't it be worth giving a shot to have it corrected ? Would it create any issues in future when one needs to apply for citizenship ?

Even if it takes 6 months, it is now not stopping you to travel, change job or do anything else you want to do because PR card is received, just a thought.

Please share your views.

My case was approved on July 2 and it was mailed on the same day. Still I haven't received PR CARD. Just want to know how much time it takes to receive PR card after approval ? Thanks.
