Applying for a temporary visa ontop of an outland partner sponsorship visa

Hi there,

I am curious about options for my partner who I've applied for a partnership sponsorship visa, due to the processing time, we are wondering what her options might be (that allow her to work) if we decide to arrive in Canada earlier then when her visa is approved.

Is it possible to still apply for a working holiday visa, or a vistor visa?

My chief concern is getting her into the country with working rights.

Your only option would be IEC or job a WP due to a job offer and usually an LMIA is needed.

What do you mean by a job WP
WP is a work permit - here a reference to a closed work permit tied to a specific employer.

She would need to secure a job offer in Canada and her employer would need to get an approved LMIA. That would then qualify her for the closed work permit.

Visitor visa will not allow her to work.

IEC / Working Holiday Visa may be an option depending on her age / passport she holds.
