I just noticed that on the 'imme5406' form (Section A), i didn't mention the country in the present address section.

Though i submitted the inland application , i made a dumb mistake of by filling-up the present address with out specifying the country name..

Present address mentioned like

#912, 24 east haven dr, scarbrough, Ontario, M1N 0B4.

Now i m really worried. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You can try and calling the IRCC to update the address. Hopefully they are able to help you.

I have a similar mistake. I filled the country of my passport wrong..., but when I called the agent said it was clear where my passport is issued so no big deal..I also got my AOR, biometric and med request today so I guess it was ok. The agent suggested me to refill the section where I was wrong and upload to the web form to have a piece of mind..

I was being told that would be officer's discretion by an Agent.

Hello, I read through and feel on the same page with you. I also got returned package last year, cried out but my hubby encouraged me a lot, and actually at that time, no flight back to my country, so we submitted it again and received in Oct 6. Just check a few days ago, the call agent said they have done some background check, my application is CPC Mississauga, still in progress. I wonder if BGC needs to be completed first then OPW or could I have OPW before BGC starts?

Thats horrific that they're still returning applications from October, I guess mine is also a possibility for that since it's not been checked yet, sorry to hear about this applying for IEC would be a good bet in my opinion, depending on what your second citizenship is (I'm guessing you've already done it with your Irish passport?), you'll probably get a permit via IEC faster than with PR, then you can reapply during that time

By the way, did your application get returned via post or via e-mail? Resubmitting essentially puts you at the back of the queue, its so unfair.

Hey sorry only getting back to you now. It was returned by mail to my lawyers office. My second citizenship is with UK so I've just started the research for that now.

Will cross my fingers for you in that case, I know for a fact that UK stream is considerably more subscribed for than the Irish stream, so you might have to wait a while to be selected, and you need a guaranteed job offer these days. But, because of that requirement, it's probably put a lot of people off so you'll likely have a good chance. Good luck with it!

But now I still received AOR with a temp application number. except it, any more notice or mail. I’m afraid of returning again if any problem. So frustrated!! I just want to join MSP. And my visa is going to be expired in Aug. Should I extend my stay?

Oh we are on the same boat. Try to link the application with your online account, if able to do so, see what activities they are doing on your application. I assume they dont return your documents anymore and you are under implied status, but check with your lawyer or call to IRCC for advice. I did extend my visitor visa 2 days before expired while waiting for application linking to my acc.

Finally, someone else in my situation! My app was received on Oct 6th and I got my temporary number on Oct 21st, since then I've heard nothing. Have you tried calling IRCC to check if they've checked your application for completeness yet? Mine wasn't done yet as of June 2nd.

I spoke with an IRCC agent yesterday, and he was unable to find my application at all,
